Being Called Home
The need to feel fully alive again listening to the stillness of the wind, the smell of new growth from the ground and sounds of the leaves rustling on the tree branches, all brought me to a small forest in the countryside of Denmark, some years ago. I came to work with a woman to learn to open my heart again to the natural world.
THIS WAS THE START OF MY JOURNEY
It led me across the world to Denmark, Bali, Nicaragua, Mexico, Peru, and New Mexico to study with teachers from both indigenous and modern shamanic traditions and other holistic healing modalities.
My Training
My shamanic studies began in my ancestral land of Denmark working one-on-one and in groups with various teachers in traditional Nordic Shamanism. Some of the work included drum and trance, shifting consciousness, connecting to nature for guidance and wisdom, and working with the cycles of the year.
Additional work included using the power of song and sound to connect to nature, to access one’s individual voice and expression, and to work with nature’s forces and energy.
I am a graduate of the Power Path School of Shamanism Shamanic Studies Program in New Mexico and completed their Level 1, 2 & Advanced Practitioner’s Training.
Additional training includes Ana H. Larramendi at The Hollow Bone and African Sangoma John Lockley.
